I spent the afternoon on Roosevelt Island photographing the cherry blossoms and midtown Manhattan skyline. It was my reward to myself for completing my debt settlement marketing tasks well before noon. I had a quiet, relaxing time and feel as though I went on a much-needed vacation. T met me there after work to make more photos, then we traveled home together. It was a great way to end a great day.

Oh, gorgeous composition. Check out those intersecting diagonals that move the viewer's eye around the picture. Very nice, indeed.

Plus the blossoms are drop-dead gorgeous, of course!

Thank you! I had a lot of fun studying the blossoms and using my extension tubes to photograph them up close. I had never seen cherry blossoms up close before yesterday, so I took full advantage of my time there to enjoy them.
