The Eyes Have It

With glaucoma on both sides of my family, I do not like to miss my annual checkups. I missed last year, since I lost my insurance when I lost my full-time job. This month I had some extra money, so I followed my intuition when she gently nudged me to make an appointment.
To my relief, yesterday's exam turned up absolutely no problems, other than the fact that my corrective lenses are a bit too strong for my eyes. When I have the $470 I need to fashionably replace my current glasses, I will do it. For now, I'll continue to wear my current prescription.
Speaking of eyes, I got two more photography assignments for next week. As of last night, I only had one day, so I'm happy about this development. It was nice having only one day this week, but I might have gone stir crazy, if I had just as few days next week.
For the past four hours I have been dressed to go out and take care of some personal business. I have not been able to convince myself to go out in the cold and wet and wind to do it, though. Interestingly enough, I had no problem going out in it at 8 AM so T could observe me move the motorcycle for alternate side parking. Things that make me go hmmm...
