Rest in peace, Aunt Mo.

There are a few more photos in my Flickr stream. Just click on the photograph to go there.

Aunt Mo would have enjoyed the service, if she could have been there. It was right up her alley. I saw a couple of aunts I hadn't seen in years and some distant cousins I hadn't seen since I was barely out of toddlerhood. In the midst of the reminiscing of me in short dresses and white gloves on a Sunday, I would slyly say, "I just turned 39 not long ago." The shock on their faces was priceless. :-)

Yes, it's a shock to have people realize that we're getting older!

I know it was rough at the funeral. Just try to hang in there. Take one day at a time.

Now that I think about it, that is one more way in which I am like Aunt Mo. She was mischevous, too. :-) (So is my mother.)
