Stocking Cap

One of T's co-workers recently commissioned me to make a stocking cap for her based on a stocking cap she already owned. Unlike the original cap, this one is knitted in the round, which means there is no seam. I am pleased with the outcome, and I hope she is, too.

i've noticed you've done quite a few pieces based on something already made, and was curious what you look for, and how close they come to the original when you're done.
if you think of it next time, i'd love to see your "before" and "after"s
