Autumn's Redeeming Qualities

wlotusI am a warm-weather person and prefer heat/humidity over cold, dry air. But there are some things about the cooling weather which I enjoy.
I shall now don fleece and go out to BJs. Yesterday's laundry took four hours to tame, and by the time I was through, I didn't have the energy to go across town. Tomorrow I am working, so I'll get this done today and savor the satisfaction that comes from taking care of business. And I just remembered I need to make a trip into Manhattan to pick up a print for someone!
- Steaming mugs of hot chocolate or herbal tea.
- Heated waterbed mattresses.
- Thick quilts pulled up to my neck.
- Fleece, fleece and more fleece!
- Almost-too-hot baths with peppermint soap in the water...and someone to scrub my back.
