Goin' to the Chapel
Oct. 18th, 2009 10:29 pmYesterday T and I had the honor of attending the wedding and after-party for a good friend of hers. After 9 years of seeing each other through life's various ups and downs, they decided to legally tie the knot.
You know I took my camera and seated myself at the aisle and near the front, right?

Here comes the bride...

We thoroughly enjoyed celebrating this occasion with them, their families, and their other friends. There was marvelous food--I am craving more of that curried goat!!!--and even better music. That soca and reggae had me sweating by the time we left at 10 PM. I helped lead the electric slide, as the group seemed unsure of how to start it. And my Mary Kay consultant will be pleased to know my makeup(!) held up well to the challenge. :-)
