In recent years the magic of Christmas has gone over my head as I have focused and obsessed over other things. This year I decided I "need a little Christmas" and am making an effort to immerse myself in and enjoy the magic of the holiday. It isn't changing the issues that are bothering me, but it is providing joy in the midst of it all, and that is worth a lot.

Oh my God, I wish I was in New York with my family, looking at Macy's like you. I miss the States. I want to be home for Xmas so bad, and I can't be.

I didn't realize you were from the States. When did you move and Canada and why?

T and I were saying the other day that if the States continues on the path it's on with denying equal rights to all citizens regardless of sexual orientation, we may end up moving to Canada. We just don't like the cold. :-)
