Christmas in New York
Dec. 20th, 2009 01:44 pmOn Thursday night I went out with my camera to capture a little bit of Christmas, New York City style. The sights and sounds did not disappoint, and the lighter, mid-week crowds allowed me to move freely.

Angels frame the tree at Rockefeller Center.

Skaters at Rockefeller Center enjoy the ice in the shadow of the tree.

Radio City Music Hall is all decked out for the holidays.

A fountain across the street sports gigantic holiday ornaments.
Meanwhile, a few blocks south at Bryant Park...

The tree and the Empire State Building overshadow skaters on The Pond at Bryant Park.

Behind The Pond, shoppers can browse and buy items in the various shoppes set up around the park.

Keep them coming! They're bittersweet for me, but I love seeing them! :-) Wonderful photography, breathtaking depth of color and light.
