01) Are you currently in a serious relationship? Yes, with a wonderful guy I hope to spend the rest of my life with.
02) What was your dream growing up? To be a great writer and a great rider.
03) What talent do you wish you had? Innate athleticism, for sure.
04) If I bought you a drink what would it be? Probably Coke Zero. :) If it had to be alcoholic, an amaretto sour.
05) Favorite vegetable? Most of them, actually. Anything except carrots or eggplant.
06) What was the last book you read? I reread Cordelia's Honor, comprising Shards of Honor and Barrayar, by Lois McMaster Bujold.
07) What zodiac sign are you? Right on the Capricorn/Aquarius cusp, so my sign depends on the year.
08) Any Tattoos and/or Piercings? Explain where. Four pierces in the left ear, one in the right, and one tattoo of a Haida salmon on my left shoulderblade. Plans for three more tattoos, when I have the money.
09) Worst Habit? Overeating and underexercising.
10) If you saw me walking down the street would you offer me a ride? Of course.
11) What is your favorite sport? Three-day eventing, followed by hockey.
12) Do you have a Pessimistic or Optimistic attitude? Depends on the day, but mostly optimistic.
13) What would you do if you were stuck in an elevator with me? Talk about all kinds of things -- life, how each of us feels, what we think, et cetera. The real stuff.
14) Worst thing to ever happen to you? Boy, I have no idea. I have to say it probably hasn't happened yet, because I've gotten through everything that's happened to me so far.
15) Tell me one weird fact about you. Weird? Hm. I speak good German, but only in my sleep.
16) Do you have any pets? One horse, two dogs, and one cat.
17) What if I showed up at your house unexpectedly? I'd be mortified at the state of my house, but I'd invite you in to stay a while!
18) What was your first impression of me? That you are a considerate, self-reflective, kind woman who is bent on making her life the best it can be.
19) Do you think clowns are cute or scary? More like 'inexplicable,' really.
20) If you could change one thing about how you look, what would it be? My weight, for sure. I'd be slim and fit forever.
21) Would you be my crime partner or my conscience? Conscience, no question about it.
22) What color eyes do you have? Dark brown.
23) Ever been arrested? Nope.
24) Bottle or can soda? Whatever I can get.
25) If you won $10,000 today, what would you do with it? Assuming that was the after-tax amount ... pay bills with half, buy a new dressage saddle with a quarter, save the rest.
26) What's your favorite place to hang out at? Home.
27) Do you believe in ghosts? Yes.
28) Favorite thing to do in your spare time? Ride, read, play games with friends, be outside.
29) Do you swear a lot? I'm cutting back. :)
30) Biggest pet peeve? Incompetence, or maybe willful ignorance, or maybe lack of empathy.
31) In one word, how would you describe yourself? Interesting.
32) Do you believe/appreciate romance? Well, 'romance' is a tricky term. I don't care for the flowers and chocolates kind, but I adore and hugely appreciate the help you when you need it, ask for help when I need it and know I'll get it, consideration and thoughtfulness kind.
33) Favourite and least favourite food? So many favorites -- sushi, Vietnamese food, Indian food, steak, creamed spinach .. I could go on! Least favorite is easier: Kraft-type mac and cheese, hot dogs, capers, bell peppers, stew, and things cooked in wine.
34) Do you believe in God? Qualified yes. I believe that there's something much greater than us out there, but I don't believe it's an old white man who judges us and sends us to hell.
35) Will you repost this so I can fill it out and do the same for you? Probably not, but not because I'm not interested. Will you fill it out for yourself in your comments? :)
