Pajamas are NOT outdoor clothing, which means they are not appropriate to wear to a restaurant.

When you've got a baby, all those rules go straight out the window. :P

That's a good point. I hadn't thought about that. (Though I don't think that was her baby.)

I'm not sure it's that every woman with a baby doesn't care. Women without the help of nannies struggle to find time to go to the bathroom when caring for a baby, let alone looking nice when they leave the house. Babies require an incredible amount of time and energy...which is why my biological clock is disabled, probably permanently. :-)

Yes, this. I know that when I had three little children under the age of 6, I once went out of the house sporting a pair of hot pink sweat pants. (I overslept, they were late for school...I didn't change....)

I love stealth pictures.

Maybe to a takeout place, but not a sit down place. A friend of mine who is public library librarian had someone come in and ask her this week if it was okay to wear PJs in the library. Of course she was already wearing them when she asked!!

I have a pair of yoga pants like that. I don't wear them outside the house and yard.

Besides, for anybody who remembers back that far, wearing men's pajama bottoms slung just low enough that your tattoo shows is soooooo 90's.

Actually, I have two pairs of pants that fall exactly like those ones do, but they're actually dress pants. I wear them with heels when I need to look competent. Of course, I don't know what the pants in the picture are made of. Two identical pairs of pants in different kinds of cloth can be complete opposites in terms of where they're appropriate and where they're not.

*giggles* I have, in fact, been known to wear my pjs outside. But not to a restaurant. Also, a guy on the plane, in the seat in front of me, was wearing pants like this, and when he stood up at the end of the flight, they had slipped down to a nearly pornographic level. Like, OMG-BUTTCRACK. It was like staring into a hairy Grand Canyon.
