This evening a friend and I spent the late afternoon into the evening sitting at the pier. We discussed life and love and watched the water traffic. This cruise ship passed us, heading out to the open sea.

It's cool that I live in a city big enough that cruise ships dock here.

It's also cool that both she and I agreed, "Someday," as we watched the ship glide past us.

Is it bad that my first impression was that someday, you two'll dress up like pirates and go around hijacking cruise ships?

And no, that thought has nothing at all whatsoever to do with my having just watched the first Pirates of the Caribbean movie for boredom's sake...
