Inside My Velvet Rope

I composed a post about a “resolution” for 2008, but I decided against sharing it. Why? It was too negative. Too victim-like. It was downright depressing, to be blunt. And you know what? I was depressed for so much of 2007 that I am enjoying not being depressed these first few days of 2008.

I usually don’t make new year’s resolutions; I change my life every moment, as necessary. But if I were to make a resolution especially for the new year, it would be this:

For 2008 I’ll continue to talk, walk, and live like the survivor I am.
