It is a hurdle that few people can jump, but once you can get over fearing death, life becomes so much more than you ever believed it could be.

Sometimes the feeling comes from the fundamentalist true believers who have no fear because they believe in Elysian Fields, and sometimes it comes from simply coming *this close* to dying and making it out intact.

The unfortunate part is that sometimes I have to put myself in dire jeopardy in order to remind myself...
