Unbeknownst to me, there is an active drum and bugle corps movement outside of college. Yesterday T and I attended the fourth annual "Music under the Bridge", sponsored by Brooklyn United. It was held at the Kingsborough Community College Performing Arts Center and featured at least 12 senior drum and bugle corps from the New York Metropolitan area. For five hours the bands and various ensembles drummed and danced and had a grand time. T and I had a grand time, too! I made over 300 photos of the event.
So much for thinking band ends after high school or college. :-)
