It's hard to tell what you have in this picture--I think it may be the world's largest azalea bush. Where is this house located? Bougainvillea lives in pretty warm climates-- and it's awesome. Only the little white bits at the center are flowers.
Definitely not bougainvillea then! Probably azalea. Although, IIRC, there is actually a shrub that has bright red leaves like that.... no idea what it's called, though.
