I don't normally like photos of myself, unless I take them. After yesterday, though, I realize I have found someone who can take sharp, flattering pictures of me in action...

LOL! Awesome thought!

Yesterday leepak and I were talking about amazing things that we wish would happen. I told her it would be a dream come true, if National Geographic saw my photos of Trinidad and liked them so much, they were sending me to do a photo shoot of life in parts of Trinidad. :-) (We were discussing how whether or not our wildest dreams come true, we should enjoy our own work.)

Both are good photos, but I particularly like the, "Hello, what's that?" quality of the second one.

I wish I had someone I trusted to take photos of me. The mirror tells me that I look pretty good, and I trust the mirror, but the camera is pretty harsh. I've hardly had a decent photograph since my wedding photos, and that was eighteen years ago. I figure that as long as the camera is going to tell me lies, I'll stick with the mirror.

Hello, from one brain-free person to another. :-)

I have the same problem with the mirror vs. the camera. I may not like everything I see in the mirror, but the whole picture looks far better there than through most people's camera lenses.

The second shot leepak did of me is my favorite, too.
