On 6 August, The Arturo O'Farrill Trio performed an hourlong set at Bryant Park's Upper Terrace. I was right down front, camera in hand. See the rest of my photos of their performance.

Since my music collection is woefully short of jazz, I bought the latest recording by Arturo O'Farrill & The Afro-Latin Jazz Orchestra from iTunes: "Song for Chico". Good stuff, man. Really good stuff. There shall be much jamming at my house for the rest of this week.

The lighting is perfect. I really enjoy the crispness of the image. It's amazing how clear your photos are. Is is a Nikon camera you use again?

Thanks, hon. I've been paying more attention to my shutter speed and focus, to make sure my images are as sharp as possible.

I use a Canon, and that lens is a Sigma (Quantaray).
