I so badly wanted to take violin lessons when I was a kid, but there weren't any teachers in my area. (Plus, I'd been taking piano lessons since I was a tot, and my parents had just bought me a clarinet for band. I think they were over getting me musical instruments.)

I create a new layer in my photo editing software (Arcsoft Photostudio X), enter the text on that layer, reduce the text's opacity to around 30%, position the text on the image, and save the whole thing as a .jpg file.

I used to play, but I'm afraid I can't do much with it, after more than two decades of not playing. I never had lessons other than group lessons in public school, so I never progressed as far as I could have and wanted to. (That is what drove me to put down the instrument in frustration when I finished high school and was no longer required by my mother to keep up appearances by struggling along with the youth orchestra.) I can read music reasonably well, but I never learned how to properly hold the instrument, let alone play with any real proficiency.
Yes, I am still sore about the fact that my family did not invest in my musical education.
