I've been thinking about taking pictures of the shadows of iron gates/fences, though that's tough 'cause it's dark. They're really pretty in an abstract way.
Have you photographed the area just outside the city? Or you could photograph the same things but in different format. Most of the photos you've posted are black and white. Do something in color.
maybe focus on color as a theme, instead of objects. choose a color, and make a series of photos that include or highlight it.
you can do something similar with numbers, but it can be a lot more difficult (but fun!).
something else that can be fun is creating dyptics with different themes: before and after, age progression, complementary shapes (target did a series of commercials that played with this quite a bit, and it's fun on the front and AND in processing) etc.
you may change your mind about things in the middle of your process, but all of these things have gotten good results in the past.
